TOWER

Vertical line array concert speaker column

VERTICAL ARRAY

The TOWER™ is a complex, huge (!) Vertical line array concert speaker column. The basic idea is a new design creation, which into only one box, unites multiple professional hanging front line array sound system’s basic services. Services such as: high sound pressure, high radiation distance, mechanically adjustable angles, uniform coverage, cardioid polar characteristics, low harmonic distortion, multi-channel operation.

At the same time, the TOWER™ offers the practicality of small standing constructions, the sound column can be easily adjusted from a horizontal position to vertical with a hinged base plate. This allows even one person to install a 40kW professional speaker system easily and in a matter of seconds! The TOWER™ sound system with TOWER™ SUB subwoofer section can be configured from 10kW to 80kW.

EXPERT IN CONCERTS

Buda Acoustic has its own registered patent, which’s essential element is a precise mechanism for adjusting the tweeters built into the sound box. With the help of it, the medium and high frequency vertical radiation can be adjusted according to the acoustic conditions of a theater, concert hall, sports hall or outdoor venue.

Distortion-free, crystal-clear sound is provided by a selection of high-quality components, best-in-class speakers available on the world market, high-quality Teflon-clad silver cables and a high-end power amplifier system. The sound box is made of multi-stiffened, circularly tapped constructions made of plywood by CNC process. In result the system perfectly conveys the artist’s emotions!

AFFORDABLE

TOWER™‘s very affordable price is due to its innovative design. Moreover, it also has low maintenance thanks to that the sound system requires minimal human resources and has small space requirements. Practical: the installation of the system is quick, easy and simple, independent of other stage elements: it does not require any scaffolding structure or motorized lifting device, there is no need to rely on the equipment used for stage lighting, the system can be dismantled in a short time after a concert.

The TOWER™ offers its users a new kind of operating freedom: the entire production is cost-effective, the lighting and stage technology can bring smaller, lighter devices. The TOWER™ offers an extremely short payback period for cultural institutions and theatres and is ideal to use with new wireless digital mixing consoles.

Why TOWER?

No need to use – usually cross – linked, aluminium – scaffolding. ● You do not need to lift the speaker column, the box itself so tall that when it is placed on stage or on the ground with a subwoofer under, it can perform concert quality sound. ● The TOWER™ is using an external mounting bracket to its destination set up, so it can be operated safely. ● TOWER™ tweeter funnels are very easy to adjust. ● The sleek and tall body of the TOWER™ looks elegant on historical walls operated as an installed sound system, can be fitted harmoniously into the environment. ● The TOWER™ can be set up simply and only using a short cable.

M6

Nearfield Studio Monitor

This two-way, 6” special studio monitor has been developed for the highest demands. Graphite-injected polypropylene, a cooled magnetic circuit woofer (75mm Aluminum voice coil) and a special quality soft dome are installed in the extreme solid box together with the highest category electronic components.

This near-field studio monitor guarantees hyper-high sound reproduction and perfect analysis for uncompromised listening. All this is greatly aided by the BUDA Acoustic Laboratory’s self-developed amplifier, which guarantees ultra-high-quality transmission.

B12

Compact two-way speaker

Real sound reproduction has been condensed into this compact two-way speaker. The high-sensitivity 12” dynamic subwoofer and the 3” Aluminium Dome, soft polyester suspension compression tweeter (with 1.4 ”throat-opening Constans Directivity funnel) are in an acoustically optimized and a rugged box.

The system comes with an integrated digital sound processor and with various presets by default. In addition to the compact speakers, the 1×18” or 2×18” subwoofers tuned to them can also be set up, but if production or circumstances require it, it can be used without a subwoofer, selecting the appropriate preset. The boxes can be expanded horizontally, and the system can be expanded with a delay radiating system, all of which is supported by the processor. B12 is primarily optimal for demanding club concerts, high-quality theatres, acoustic, unplugged, jazz, pop, folk and especially high-quality productions.

We recommend using it where distance and audience do not justify the need of a line array, but you want to achieve the best in terms of quality and resolution. Alternatively, B12 can be used within a larger system in sidefield and downfield formations, as well as a specialquality drum and foot monitor. The box can be used directly on stage -stood on top of a subwoofer- on a 35mm tripod bar, or with multi-point rigging and fixed installation.

AUDIOPHILE SOUND

The designers of Buda Acoustic are not satisfied with the average sound quality. The sound quality of the Subok is provided not only by the speaker or by the amplifier, but mainly by the rock-solid cabin. The sound box is made of 21mm plywood, with circular edge tapping, CNC machining machines, multiple internal stiffening modules. Which create an extra stable and solid cabin, so the clear, undistorted and ultra-fast bass sounds can come alive with high sound pressure and excellent impulse response.

RIGGABLE, UP TO 100KW

All elements of the Tower sound system can be rigged at will. The Tower S218 SUB’s internal hardware and standard rigging rails allow you to lift the sub boxes in case it gets in the way on stage. The Subs can be stalled on top of each other thanks to the roof and bottom plates of the sound boxes, that were made with precision positioning milling. Also, the wear-resistant, structured polyurethane-based cover layer on the cabin surface ensures the durability of the structure.

The complete sound system with Tower SUB subwoofers can be set up to 100,000W AES. The sound image can be modified by DSP-controlled, big-name German power amplifiers, bringing the whole sound image up to the level of the world’s leading systems.

MODULAR

SYSTEM

Buda Acoustic’s latest model-family is a hanging, modular system that can be configured in any installation, from theatres and sports halls to the largest outdoor festivals.

The high-performance live and touring speaker system can be assembled in several variations and can be angled in different degrees according to the needs of the broadcast. The special feature of the design is an interchangeable suspension system, which allows the sub and tops to be pushed under or next to each other, so that the entire system can be assembled up to 100kW.

The design and shape of the BUDA Acoustic line array system is traditional and functional. All its elements ensure practicality, perfect sound and an accurate directional radiation pattern. Sound quality is guaranteed by top-quality speakers, silver cables, extremely rigid body and high-end electronics.
